OREF held its ffth and final regional
Resident Research Symposium of 2022 today. The event was hosted by Dr. Regis J. O'Keefe, MD, PhD, and the Washington University School of Medicine. Thw symposium featured two keynote speakers: Christopher J. Dy, MD, MPH, FACS, Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine and Director of the Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship at Washington University Orthopedics, and Cecilia Pascual-Garrido, MD, PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine.
The panel of judges included Alexander W. Aleem, MD, MSc, Washington University Orthopedics; Martin I. Boyer, MD, FRCS(C), Washington University in St. Louis; David Brogan, MD, MSc, Washington University in St. Louis; and Simon Tang, PhD, Washington University in St. Louis.
Twenty-eight residents presented their research and the top presenters received cash prizes. The top three presenters will advance to the OREF National Resident Research Symposium on November 8, 2022. A complete list of winners is available here.
