OREF Presents Lifetime Service Award

Ramon L. Jiménez, MD, FAAOS, received the 2024 Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF) Lifetime Service Award at the OREF Board of Trustees Reception held in San Francisco in February. The award recognizes individuals and organizations that have built a legacy of service to OREF through their commitment of time, expertise, and philanthropy in support of OREF’s mission to improve clinical practice by encouraging new investigators to pursue a career in musculoskeletal research. Dr. Jiménez was recognized for his years of service on behalf of OREF as a trustee, including serving as the president of the board (2012–2014) and vice chair of development (2009), and for his generosity in support of OREF’s mission. The award was presented by OREF President Thomas P. Sculco, MD, FAAOS.
