Sigvard T. Hansen Jr., MD Mentor Campaign

This special campaign honors Sigvard T. “Ted” Hansen Jr. MD., Professor Emeritus, University of Washington Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and Director of Sigvard T. Hansen Foot & Ankle Institute at Harborview Medical Center/UW Medicine. The “father of modern traumatolgy,” he has trained numerous fellows in both trauma and foot & ankle at UW Medicine, and hundreds of UW Medicine residents have benefitted from his teaching. Dr. Hansen has chosen the impact of required documentation on the patient-physician relationship as the focus of research for this campaign.
