Michael P. Kelly Sr. Leadership Development Fellowship
This one-year fellowship program is designed to aid and develop leadership skills in the junior orthopaedic resident's research career path. The first six months is focused on the development of key attributes of effective leaders, including integrity, selflessness, decisiveness, organization, benevolence, vision, communication and innovation. Each fellow then benefits from six months of mentoring with a distinguished clinician scientist to develop excellence as an orthopaedic investigator.
A goal of the program is to improve access to critical mentoring and skill development for residents whose circumstances might limit similar opportunities. The participant selection process will prioritize women and underrepresented minorities (URM) who meet program criteria.
The application period for the next cohort is expected to open in August 2025. Bookmark our Funding Opportunities page and check back often for updated information about current and upcoming grants.
