Online Educational Tools Available to Trainees and Residency Programs
LearnORS is the online education platform from the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS). All courses are taught by experts in their fields of research, and are offered online, on demand, on any schedule. LearnORS courses currently include: The Art of Grant Writing, Enhanced Writing and Publication Skills, Orthopaedic Basic Science, Principles of Clinical Research, and The New Investigator Toolkit.
Bundles are available to both individuals and residency programs. The Residency Bundle is available to help residency programs create a curriculum for training with access to all LearnORS courses for all residents in their program. Individuals can also purchase the Residency Bundle, or create a custom bundle to fit their educational needs.
The recently launched New Investigator Toolkit addresses common gaps in training that surface during the launch of an independent laboratory. These online sessions bring together early and mid-career investigators for panel discussions on the development of critical "soft-skills", such as cultivating mentoring skills, building a lab brand, and strategic planning through different career stages.
For more information on any of the LearnORS programs, please visit www.ors.org/learnors, email learnors@ors.org, or call 847-823-5770.
