Grant Details

Solicits investigator-initiated research proposals focusing on Orthopaedic Trauma that investigates innovative strategies for operatively managing ankle fractures in the setting of compromised bone or soft tissue or metabolic challenges likely to increase risk of complications.

Eligibility

An orthopaedic surgeon principal investigator (PI) must be licensed to practice in the United States or Canada and working in an institution in the U.S. or Canada. PhDs or DVMs working in or holding a primary appointment at an institution/orthopaedic department in the U.S. or Canada may serve as the co-PI. Either the PI or co-PI must be an active Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) member in good standing.
