OREF/Georgetown Medical Student Research Grant

Under the funding opportunity announcement, click on the link to proposalCENTRAL. On the top right hand corner of the page, click the login prompt. If you do not have an account in proposalCENTRAL, click the “Create One”  prompt. Once logged in, you are able to access and complete the application.

As a Principal Investigator (PI), you may apply in only one category per cycle. This restriction does not apply to Co-PI status or to applicants to the Mentored Clinician Scientist Grant. A PI may submit only one (1) LOI in a grant cycle.

OREF invites applications for funding for qualified, clinically relevant orthopaedic research projects. Specific eligibility requirements for each grant are listed in the grant descriptions.

OREF strongly encourages the submission of well-crafted basic, translational and clinical studies. Clinical relevance must be clearly noted in the abstract and specific aims and be obvious from the title and the study design. All proposed projects should generate results that have a practical application.
