New grants available in sports medicine, TJR and injury rehabilitation, plus grants for residents

OREF is now accepting applications or letters of intent (LOIs) for the following grant programs.

OREF Soft Tissue Repair and Regeneration Sports Medicine Grant in honor of Russell F. Warren, MD. ($150k to $225k) This opportunity is for investigator-initiated multidisciplinary research proposals focused on the development of new cell and tissue-based strategies to prevent, repair and replace musculoskeletal tissues. OREF and TAF Innovative and Accelerated Protocols for Rehabilitation of Orthopaedic Injuries Research Grant. ($50k) OREF and The Aircast Foundation solicit investigator-initiated research proposals focused on innovative and accelerated protocols for rehabilitation in orthopaedic injury. OREF Resident Research Project Grant. Applications for the January 2018 grant deadline are available. These $5k grants are offered several times during the year, with applications currently due in January 2018, May 2018 or April 2019. You may submit only one application per grant year.
