OREF is now accepting applications for the OREF and Orthopaedic Trauma Association Trauma Research Grant and the OREF Hip and Knee Research Grant.
The OREF and Orthopaedic Trauma Association Trauma Research Grant will provide up to $200,000 over two years. Either the principal investigator or (PI) or Co-PI must be a member in good standing of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association. Learn more about the

The OREF Hip and Knee Research Grant will provide up to $300,000 over three years. The PI must be a new investigator. A new investigator is classified as an individual who has not received an R01 National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant or its equivalent (e.g., VA, DOD, NSF) as a PI. Learn more about the

NOTE: Letters of Intent—The first step in applying for either grant is to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI). Please visit the OREF website for instructions on submitting an LOI. All properly submitted LOIs will be reviewed by the Research Grants Committee. If your LOI is selected to advance, you will be invited to complete a full proposal.
LOIs are due January 17, 2019 by 10:59 p.m. CDT.
