Guest Speaker Program: grants of up to $2,500 (one-day programs) and up to $5,000 (multi-day programs) to cover expenses associated with guest speakers for research day programs, visiting professorships, or similar lectureship programs for residents. Each program may apply for up to two grants.
Scholarship Program: grants of up to $5,000 per institution to cover registration fees, travel, lodging, and meals for residents attending offsite educational programs: orthopaedic society meetings, including those offered by specialty/subspecialty and regional organizations, and nationally recognized orthopaedic courses.
Special Initiatives Program: grants of up to $10,000 for initiatives that demonstrate enhancement of resident training. Examples: programs which contribute to the development of: residents as orthopaedic clinician scientists; novel curricula and/or educational resources for residents; or mentoring opportunities for residents. Each program may apply for one grant.
