OREF & ORS - a model for success

Through 2009, OREF’s designated giving program has generated more than $456,000 to support ORS’ research and education agenda.

Since being introduced in 2008, the ORS-OREF Distinguished Investigator Award has honored the work of Drs. Victor M. Goldberg, Carl T. Brighton, and Henry J. Mankin, and has celebrated the many ORS MD and PhD members who, assisted by OREF grants and awards, have advanced the science and practice of orthopaedics.

In 2010, ORS and OREF inaugurated the ORS/OREF Travel Awards in Orthopaedic Research Translation. In addition, 2010 brought our further collaboration in encouraging young scientists through the OREF/ORS Resident Research Symposia.

Please help OREF and ORS continue our partnership of support for the researchers who are reshaping orthopaedics.

Support ORS through OREF today.

All gifts of $500 or more given by PhD members and all gifts of $1,000 or more given by other ORS members to the OREF Annual Campaign earn Order of Merit recognition and the opportunity to direct a portion to the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS).  Those giving $2,500 or more are eligible for VIP Housing privileges at the AAOS Annual Meeting.  Please give generously to advance the science and practice of orthopaedics.
