OREF continuing medical education (CME) grants support CME programs that are offered in the United States and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
Each application will be evaluated by the OREF Educational Grants Board. The board will consider the scope of the program, quality of faculty and materials, the number of program participants, and similar factors in the selection process. Applicants may apply for more than one grant. Each grant request must be submitted as a separate application.

Availability to be confirmed, subject to funding commitments
Grants will be offered for 2012 continuing medical education programs in one or more of the following topic areas:
- hip arthroplasty - up to $25,000
- knee arthroplasty - up to $25,000
- osteoarthritis - up to $50,000
- pain management - up to $50,000
